    Feel free to post some cool Power Auras/UI setups here, just wanted to post my elemental one because I redid it and I like it Tongue

    Nice, mines pretty standard I got some procs for buffs some active here. The big ring is obviously when I have full holy power. The numbers are actually counting down, the 1 over there is the pursuit of justice proc or whatever the bottom right is holy shield, and the bottom left is divine protection. There are others but these are the ones I had proced.

    Outer rings are Mana Gem off CD, FM on Focus, shields are for Molten Armor/Mage Armor, 3 center icons for LB/Ignite/Pyroblast on Target, Purple Lust for TW, rest should be explanatory.

    You can see I keep it really simple, my portrait and the enemy target are right in my LoS.  You can see its tracking my 3 primary abilities, SnD, Rupture and the small white aura at the bottom is Revealing Strike.  Of course you can see my CP's.

    DBM timers scroll to the right under my portrait and Omen sits alone in the top right under the map.

    DO YOU SEE HOW MUCH SCREEN ESTATE I HAVE?!?!  Its very rare that I get blindsided by avoidable raid damage because I can usually see it moving in from Texas.  Or... I can see raid member in trouble and decide if I have an ability/time to save that person if necessary. 


    Mods and auras alone wont make you better, stop tunneling.
    Sam, your auras look like a rainbow just shat on your screen.  Go to the dummy and SS your auras in action. Please tell me your screen isnt a monster clusterfuck like that when you raid or I may have located another source of your troubles.

    I see that everyone has buttons on the bottom and right side of their screen.  Is it necessary? What's the benefit there?

    Gascan: How did you get all those buttons in the middle of your screen?  I have a few emergency skills that I don't have bound to a hotkey b/c of my stupid brotation and if I can get divine shield or the physical immune spell on my screen it may be easier for me to save people. 

    Power auras change your UI that much?  Other than recount your screenshots don't look familiar at all.  I found a few power auras online but my screen doesn't look anything like the above...

    The only thing Power Auras does is add a few graphical cues to when things proc, when you have or don't have specific buffs, or when you're standing in the bad. Anything else you see is someone's custom UI, which is a bunch of different addons. The buttons you see in the middle of Gas' screen is actually Power Auras, you can have the icons set up to be the ones like you get when your free exorcism procs, the icon of the spell, or completely random pictures. The extra action bars on the screen just make it easier to have everything you think is important at the click of a button, and you can get those by just going to Options > Interface > Action Bars.

    Tyranbu, this link will take you to a site with lots of different Powers Auras Classic export strings.  http://powerauras.wikispaces.com/Class+Exports#Paladin    Look over them and see what catches your eye.  Some may be a whole set to copy/paste into Power Auras, others will be individual strings that you can mix and match.  Sometimes this site doesn't have the kind of aura I'm looking for, so I'll google Tricks of the Trade Power Aura Export, for example.  I found a site with a single string for a perfect Tricks aura that looks like the icon in my spell book.

    As for my auras, I find export strings that use the actual button icon as the visual cue as opposed to auras, then I don't have to remember a bunch of different graphics, I see the same buttons I've been using forever.  I only use the aura for my combo points.

    Power Auras Classic has and editor, where you can copy/paste export strings into, and then resize/move them around your screen to your liking.  I'd be happy to walk you through it.

    Doh, one more thing.  The buttons on the bottom and right side of our screens are the standard Blizzard WoW UI.  I just keep them all on because I move abilities around a lot.  I think the option is show action bars or something like that.
